AS part of its fifth birthday celebrations, Inverurie fashion store The Fountain is holding its 62nd Charity Fashion Show.
The show will take place on Thursday (June 12) in Inverurie Town Hall, and all proceeds will go to Home-Start Garioch.
Since opening in 2003 The Fountain has raised more than £58,000 for various charities and local good causes including SWRI, Bre
ast Cancer Care, Alzheimer charities, local school PTAs and many other local clubs.
Owner of The Fountain, Inger Vorley commented: "At The Fountain we pride ourselves in our commitment to the local community and we are always happy to support local charities and good causes.
"This year, because it is our fifth anniversary, we are aiming to hold the biggest and best show yet, which should raise lots of money for an excellent cause. We are especially delighted to have local singer Jenna Cameron performing, as she is an inspiration to many following her battle with cancer as a young girl."
There will be a raffle on the night with many excellent prizes donated by local businesses. The clothes featured will appeal to all ages and will also be modelled by models of all ages. Catering will be provided by Fennel restaurant, the models make up will be expertly handled by Julie from The Spa. A wide range of fashions will be on display, including "Smart casual", "Night Out" and "Wedding, Prom and Evening Wear" and Katsize will be providing lingerie for show on the catwalk.
The first half of the programme will feature children's wear, and following a performance by local singer Jenna Cameron, the second half will feature adult wear.
The fundraising fashion show will be held on June 12, at 7.30pm in Inverurie Town Hall. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased from The Fountain on (01467) 628800.
The Fountain is a specialist in wedding outfits, evening wear and stocks an impressive selection of prom dresses, and is proud to supply customers from all over Grampian.
Home-Start is the North east charity providing support to families with children under five. Support is offered particularly in times of need such as illness or bereavement, or can supply breathing space when it was really needed. All support is provided by volunteers.
