MEMBERS of the Insch Hospital Action Group have received a decent response to its survey of the views of the 3,350 households within the Hospital's catchment area.
The return rate is currently at around 55 per cent, including the second batch of forms, which were sent out around a fortnight ago.
A spokesperson for the Action Group said: "We are very pleased with the response, it is about twice the norm for th
is type of survey. We would, however, appeal to everyone that has received a survey form but has not yet returned it to do so. It's not too late.
"Anyone who has even the remotest concern regarding future healthcare provision in the locality should complete and return theirs. The analysed response will help provide a template for the future allocation of resources in Aberdeenshire."
The final batch of questionnaires will be sent for analysis by the Department of Market at Robert Gordon University's Aberdeen Business School early next week. The choices selected and the comments made in the survey forms will then be professionally assessed and collated before being published in a report.
The completed report will be available in local health centres, post offices and libraries and sent out to other interested parties. It is also to be sent to candidates in the forthcoming council and Scottish Parliament elections.
