Dean's 'Collection' claims award

DEAN'S of Huntly's newest range, 'The Collection', triumphed in the Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards, held last Thursday (May 8) at The Mansfield Traquair, Edinburgh.
The range of six flavoured shortbread biscuits, has come away with 'Best Bakery and Cereal Based Product' and the award for best 'Brand Development'.

The packaging has been specifically designed for key export markets, and the UK gift market and is already available in multiple gift outlets within the UK, including Edinburgh Woollen Mills.

Commenting, Commercial Director Scott Kelman said: "We are delighted to have received these awards. We have developed and introduced 'The Collection' specifically to capitalise on key market opportunities and it is particularly pleasing to receive industry recognition for the range."

The Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards are now in their seventh year and are organised jointly by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland and Scottish Enterprise.
