Acts of vandalism connected

SEVERAL businesses in Inverurie's town centre were targets for vandalism at the weekend.
In the hours of late Saturday night (September 16) through to early Sunday morning (September 17), the windows of three premises in Market Place and three premises in High Street were deliberately damaged.
All six acts of vandalism are thought to be connected.
The window of a further business premises in West High Street was also broken, though it is yet to be determined as to whether this incident is related to the others.
Grampian Police are currently investigating the incidents and are encouraged by the progress of the investigation.
Sergeant MacDonald said: "We are following a positive line of enquiry with regards to the acts of vandalism to several commercial properties in the town centre which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning."
